MHMS Learning Portal - Privacy & Terms of Use
This document explains how the MHMS Learning Portal collects, uses and protects your information, and the terms under which you use the service.
1. About this policy
This combined Privacy Notice and Terms of Use applies to the MHMS Learning Portal - an online training platform operated by the Ministry of Health and Medical Services (MHMS), Fiji.
2. What information we collect
We collect information you provide when registering and using the Portal, including your name, employee number, email address, role, and learning activity (course enrolments, progress, assessment results).
3. How we use your information
Information is used to administer your training, record professional development, generate workforce reports for MHMS planning, and meet statutory record-keeping obligations.
4. Cookies
The Portal uses functional cookies necessary for the service to operate (session management, security, language preference). It does not use advertising or tracking cookies. By using the Portal you consent to functional cookies.
5. Data sharing
Your training records are accessible to MHMS workforce planners and your line manager. Aggregated, de-identified data may be used for reporting.
6. Data retention
Active account records are kept while you are an MHMS staff member.
7. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
8. Acceptable use
The Portal is for authorised MHMS staff and partners.
